We offer different size student apartments in Hämeenlinna and Riihimäki. Electricity, water and the laundry room is included in the rent!

Any student can apply for apartment from HOPS. Minor is required to provide guardians agreement.
Students studying in Hämeenlinna and Riihimäki are first priority, but you can apply even if you are studying in other city.
Not necessarily. We handle applications case by case. However credit report marks causes us to collect bigger deposit, usually sum equal to three rents.
You receive offer for apartment by email, if we have apartment matching your application. Application is valid for 3 months.
You can sign the lease electronically with your online bank account. You receive link in your email after you have paid deposit.
Rent includes water, electricity and internet. Available to you is also storage, laundry room and weekly public sauna, so called "Juoksusauna".
All apartments doesn't include furniture. Kampuskaarre 1 and H2 (Lehmustie 5) doesn't include furniture. Other apartments have furnite available, bed (80cm wide, mattress not included), desk and chair and bookshelf
Shared apartments includes kitchen table and chairs.
If you dont want foundations' furniture, you from "report a problem" and request removal of furniture. Request to have furniture should be mentioned in application or at the latest when you are signing the lease.

You can call to caretaker. Check the number for caretaker from contact information page, Hämeenlinna and Riihimäki have different maintenance company. Company will charge a fee of opening the door.

If connection problems have started after activation, you can contact Telia technical service, 020 690 400.
Rental supervisor returns deposit approximately 3 weeks after lease ends. You receive deposit in full, if all rent is paid and apartment is cleaned to moving-out standards.
After graduation, you have 6 months of right of residence. If you need extension, contact our office and we'll see what is the situation.
